The BC Utilities Commission (BCUC) has approved the Stargas Utilities Ltd. Tariff change to a $25 application fee the new customers.
The new tariff will allow for the amortization of installation costs so that the cost to the new customer at $25 is the same fee that FortisBC charges throughout BC. This proposal is primarily targeted at those properties that are using propane at Silver Star to encourage conversion to natural gas.
