There have been several attempts over the last couple of years to form a Community Program that would take the lead in implementing solutions for wildfire safety. To that end, there will be a meeting held on Wednesday, December 12th at 4:30 pm at the NATC building. It is hoped that a number of volunteers will step forward, ideally one from each small neighborhood, and those volunteers will form the nucleus of the Community Program. Please join your neighbours, discuss your concerns, and learn what the FireSmart Communities Program can do for our specific community.
